Prerequisites: What You Need Before Creating Tickets

Before you can start adding tickets to your event, ensure the following steps are completed:

  1. Create Your Organisation

  2. Create Your Event

    • Once your organisation is ready, create your first event. The AI chatbot can assist you with this process as well.

  3. Complete the Onboarding Process

    • Add your payment details to enable ticket sales.

      • Navigate to the Finance section on your organisation's page.

      • In the Stripe Account Information section, click Add Information to securely set up payment processing.

      • Note: Until this step is complete, you can only publish free events.

  4. Set Up Your Payment Details

    • Navigate to the Finance section on your organisations page

    • In the Finance section, look for Stripe Account Information and click on Add Information. This will allow you to set up how you will receive payments, keeping your personal bank and details secure.

    Until you complete this process, you can only publish free events. Once your payment details are set up, you'll be able to sell tickets with prices.


Step-by-Step Guide to Creating Tickets

Once your event and payment details are set up, follow these steps to create ticket tiers:


Step 1: Navigate to the Manage Events Section

  • On the homepage, click the Manage Events link in the top navigation menu.

Step 2: Select Your Event

  • On the Manage Events page, locate the event for which you want to add ticket tiers and click on it.

Step 3: Access the Ticketing Section

  • After selecting your event, you’ll be directed to the event overview page. Look for the Ticketing section.

Step 4: Add Ticket Tiers

  • In the Ticketing section, you can create multiple ticket tiers to suit your event. Here’s how:

  1. Standard Ticket Tiers

    • Common tiers include General Admission, VIP, or Early Bird. For each tier:

      • Enter the Price ($) for the ticket.

      • Specify the Quantity of tickets available for this tier.

      • Click + Add Tier to save the tier.

    • General Admission: $50, Quantity: 100

    • VIP: $150, Quantity: 20

    • Early Bird: $40, Quantity: 50

  2. Custom Ticket Types

    • Create unique tickets like "Meet and Greet" or "Backstage Pass".

      • Enter the Custom Name (e.g., Meet and Greet).

      • Set the Price ($) and Quantity Available.

      • Optionally, add a Description for additional details.

      • Click + Add Ticket Type to save the custom ticket.
